Keith R. Burns, 60 of Warwick, passed away on January 19th at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA.
He was the beloved husband of Kristen (Ogden) Burns, they had been together for 22-1/2 years. He was the son of the late Thomas J. Burns Jr and Beverly A. (Stewart) Burns. Keith was a baker by trade starting off at his family's business--the Burns Bros Donut shop. He also worked at many bakeries throughout Rhode Island, including Collier's and Kavanaugh's. He worked at Vienna Bakery for 10 years and also
LaSalle Bakery for several years before he took sick. Keith enjoyed music of all types, especially the blues, camping, boating and traveling, and many other things, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and his dog Harley. She was his baby. Keith came to find the Lord and started attending church at Praise Tabernacle. Keith was the beloved father of Nicole, Keith and Courtney and the step father of Michael, Michaela, Wynter and Nicolette. He was a loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren. He was the brother of Kathy (Andy) Nonnenmarker, and also leaves nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother Thomas J Burns 3rd and his sister Donna Burns.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Robert T Johnson-Gilcrest VFW Post at 183 Washington St. Warwick, RI on Wednesday, January 29th at 11 AM.
